2010年国家总稽查司报告显示，
政府在2010年的营运开销出现二度超支。
原本财政预算里，营运开销拨款为1,382.8亿元。
政府稍后额外增拨107.8亿元，至1,490.6亿元。
最终，2010年实际营运开销高达1,516.3亿元!
结果，营运开销比拨款高出25.7亿元。
政府的营运开销主要花在采购和固定开支（781亿元）、
公务员薪酬（466.6亿元）、服务与供应（238.4亿元）。
营运超支主要是因为部门和机构没有遵守财政纪律。
九大政府部门超支37.3亿! 其中以教育部最为严重，超支17.5亿元。
卫生部超支9.3亿元、公共服务局超支5.8亿元、及国防部的3.9亿元。
2010年联邦政府营运开销分析结果显示，
财政管理不当案例一共有138宗，涉及数额达3.6亿元。

Over spending is bad but what is worse is the exorbitant prices of purchases of various departments in the region of astronomical figures not account for. Every year we hear about the hideous purchases and clear cases of corruption but not action taken so far. The culprits can go free and enjoy the loots. What a great national shame!
